Set against the rugged landscapes and untamed frontier of Montana Falls, our world is one of contrasts. Beneath the familiar sights of the American West lies something far older, stranger, and considerably more dangerous. Humanity is not alone, the dead do not always remain buried, and some of the most influential figures in society are anything but human.
The Moonstone Chronicle brings together the atmosphere and storytelling of the Old West with gothic horror, supernatural intrigue, and personal drama.

We believe the heart of roleplay is storytelling.
Whether you are a humble rancher trying to make a living, a travelling doctor, a lawman seeking justice, a socialite navigating high society, or something far more sinister hiding behind a familiar face, your character has a place in Montana Falls.
Our world is designed for a variety of stories and character experiences, from everyday frontier life and community relationships to political intrigue, supernatural mysteries, and the struggles of those who walk between worlds.
There is no single story to follow and no predetermined hero at the centre of it all. The world is shaped by the people who inhabit it, the decisions they make, and the consequences they leave behind.
The World of Darkness
Inspired by the World of Darkness setting, The Moonstone Chronicle explores a world in which supernatural beings exist alongside ordinary humanity.
Kindred walk among the living, concealing their true nature behind carefully constructed identities. Hunters seek out the things that should not exist. Occult practitioners pursue knowledge others would consider impossible, while ordinary people continue their lives largely unaware of the darkness surrounding them.
Not every supernatural encounter needs to end in violence, and not every monster considers themselves one. Alliances, rivalries, politics, loyalty, ambition, and betrayal are just as important as the supernatural itself.
We aim to create an environment where different supernatural stories can coexist, intersect, and develop organically.
Our approach to roleplay
We value collaborative storytelling, character development, and meaningful interactions. We encourage players to create characters with their own motivations, histories, flaws, and ambitions — characters who can grow, make mistakes, develop relationships, and experience the consequences of their actions.
- Story comes first. Meaningful interactions and character development take priority over winning or losing.
- Collaboration matters. The best stories are often the ones created together.
- Consequences have meaning. Choices can shape relationships, reputations, and the wider world.
- Creativity is encouraged. Bring your own ideas, personalities, and stories to Montana Falls.
- Respect is essential. Everyone deserves an enjoyable and welcoming environment in which to participate.
Roleplay is a collaborative hobby. Communication, consideration, and a willingness to work with others are essential to the community we want to build.
