The Chronicle is built upon the familiar foundations of the American frontier, with something far more unusual lurking beneath the surface. Humans, Kindred and those who hunt them all have their place in this world, though not everyone knows just how much exists beyond ordinary understanding.
Our World & Lore section offers an introduction to the setting, its history and the supernatural elements that shape it. Don't worry about knowing everything before you begin; there's always more to discover.

Once you've familiarised yourself with the setting, it's time to start thinking about who you'd like to bring into the world.
Whether you're interested in an ordinary person trying to make their way in the frontier, a Kindred navigating the politics of the night, or something else entirely, we're interested in characters with stories to tell and room to grow.
Take a look through our character and faction information to explore the possibilities. When you're ready, you can begin putting together your character with the character guide for submission and staff review.
We want to encourage creativity and interesting concepts, so if you have an idea that doesn't quite fit within the usual mould, don't be afraid to bring it to us. We're always happy to discuss possibilities.
